Mabani Infra is a complete building waterproofing contractor in Mumbai. We take responsibility for the whole building, from the basement to the terrace, for new construction and for existing buildings, housing societies and commercial premises.
A building is only as watertight as its weakest detail. When the basement, the podium, the wet areas and the terrace are waterproofed by different contractors with different systems, the junctions between them are where water gets in. A single contractor plans the systems so they are compatible at every interface, and keeps one set of inspection records for the whole building.

- Site inspection of every area showing leaks, dampness or damage.
- Trace each leak to its source: terrace, podium, wet area, tank, joint or basement.
- Agree a prioritised scope, starting with the sources causing the most damage.
- Repair damaged concrete and corroded reinforcement where found.
- Waterproof each element with the system that suits it.
- Inspect, test where specified, and hand over records.
For new buildings: one plan, raft to roof

Complete building waterproofing: frequently asked questions
What does complete building waterproofing include?
Every waterproofed element of the building: basement and substructure, underground tanks and lift pits, STP tanks, expansion and construction joints, podiums, bathrooms and wet areas, swimming pools, and terraces. Each element gets the system that suits it, from one contractor.
Why use one contractor for the whole building?
Most leaks start at interfaces: where a podium meets a tower, where a terrace meets a parapet, or where a basement wall meets the raft. One contractor responsible for both sides of each interface means compatible systems, a single point of responsibility and one set of records.
Can you waterproof an existing, occupied building?
Yes, in most cases. Work is planned in zones so residents or occupants can keep using the building, and the sequence starts with the sources causing the most damage. Some work, such as tank waterproofing, needs a short shutdown of that area.
Do you repair damaged concrete as well?
Yes. Leaks often cause reinforcement corrosion and spalling. We carry out RCC structural repair and, where an engineer specifies it, carbon fibre strengthening along with the waterproofing.
